Chip Christ

Adjunct Professor of Music at Texas Christian University, Chip Christ holds a BM from the University of North Texas and a MM from Southern Methodist University. In addition he studied for three summers at the Aspen Music Festival with Oscar Ghiglia and Eliot Fisk.

His performance experience includes both solo and ensemble recitals throughout the southwest. He also does freelance work on both classical and popular styles in the Fort Worth Dallas area.

Mr. Christ has also taught at Richland College in Dallas and the University of North Texas in Denton. He has been a faculty member in the TCU Music Preparatory Program since 1987.

Michael J. Bennett

Michael started playing bass guitar in high school and continued during his time at TCU.  Graduate school, a demanding career and a 10-year stint in Europe interrupted his musical pursuits, but a return to Fort Worth in 2003 gave an opportunity to start playing again. An architect and planner with over 30 years of experience, Michael serves as Principal and CEO of the firm Bennett Benner Partners.  During his time with the firm, Michael has led design teams on many notable projects, such as downtown Fort Worth’s Sundance Square, the 25-story Frost Tower, MOLA at the Fort Worth Zoo, The Woodshed Smokehouse, Le Cep, WestBend as well as numerous projects for Country Day School, Texas Wesleyan, TCC and TCU.
